The apartment

The apartment is a studio of 291 sq. ft. (27 m² certified) renovated and redecorated in 2012, arranged for 2 people. It is located on the 5th floor of an historic building of the 17th century. Access is secured with a codepad commanding the door on the street and an intercom (or key) to open the inner door leading to the stairs of time (there is no elevator). The entrance to the building has been renovated and has beautiful stonework and beams.

The living room

The living room is bright with two big windows looking onto the street. The floor is made of recent dull laminate with white walls. Many built-in cupboards including wardrobes with hanging enable storage. A wide panel flap can be opened to the kitchen and turns into a dining table. An armchair, a large 2 seater sofabed and a coffee table invite to relax. At night, the sofabed can be easily unfolded in 3 to form a double bed of 140 cm x 190 cm with a firm mattress. It is a quality sofabed bought from a specialist in Paris.
A recent 81 cm cable TV with HDMI and USB connexions can play movies or mp3s and connect a video game. Cable programs are available to watch French and international channels or listen to radios.
A personal internet connexion is available in WiFi.

The entrance, the kitchen, the bathroom

A small entrance hall with a coat rack, a tall wall mirror and a window leads to the bathroom, the kitchen and the living room.

The kitchen has a refrigerator with a compartment for ice cubes, a gas 4 ring stove and oven, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker, a sink and cupboards. The floor is covered with recent clear tiles with white walls and a small window allows to ventilate.

The bathroom includes a sink, a bathtub with shower rail and a toilet. It is equipped with a washing machine and a retractable cloth drying rack over the tub. A hairdryer is available. The floor is covered with recent clear tiles with white walls and a small window allows to ventilate.

In winter the central heating is on and two additional electric radiators are provided for half seasons. Also available: an iron and ironing board, a vacuum cleaner and a portable fan to cool during hot summers.
